Today marks the Fourth Sunday of Lent. Our fasting, almsgiving, and prayers as we travel along our way of the Cross may have left us tired and drowsy in the fatigue of our human weaknesses and limitations.
Jesus Christ, the light of the world, is on this path. He is walking alongside us, blind beggars that we are so that He can illuminate our darkness. It was unheard of for anyone to open the eyes of someone born blind. Yet, Jesus shines His divine light and the blind man now sees all that God created for Him.
