This week’s theme is clearly “holiness.” God tells Moses to tell the people, “Be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.” Paul tells the Corinthians, “the temple of God, which you are, is holy.” And in the Gospel, Jesus tells us, “Be perfect.” But what is holiness? In my experience, working in Faith Formation with children, youth, and adults we sometimes throw these words around – grace, mercy, and holiness.
